Lotto Plus 5, will be coming to an end when the changes to Lotto come into effect. It is important to have the right number of games in our portfolio at any one time, and with the introduction of a Lotto raffle as part of our planned changes to the game, we believe the right thing to do is to bring Lotto Plus 5 to an end and to consolidate the main Lotto game. With the exciting prizes on offer, we believe our current Lotto and Lotto Plus 5 players will love the changes to the main game.

New Lotto goes on sale on Thursday 3rd October 2013, with the first new Lotto draw taking place on Saturday 5th October 2013.

Yes Mate I remember you saying some time back.
I had to make sure as I play plus5, I'm pleased it's stopping
when the price goes up as it would cost

Well theres 2 more Wednesdays and one more Saturday before the price goes up. Has anyone made a decision on whether their Lotto playing habit will change when the price doubles ?
At the moment I play two tickets on Wednesday and eight tickets on Saturday with fixed numbers, the same numbers I've had for nearly 20 years! For rollovers I might also play extra lines based on analysis. I'm not paying an extra

I'll not be playing Lotto full-time once the price goes up
i.e. Play Saturday & Wednesday's. I may just play once in a while
but not like I have done so before that's for sure.

I cannot understand why the British public has gone along with
the price increase without challenging Camelot
it is not fair that the price should double.

I'm sure that what will happen now in UK will be rather similar to
what happenned here in the Italy years ago.

Some people simply will stop playing ,some people will drastically reduce theyr buget for tickets.Like this the new form of National Lottery will enter in crisis and the operator will initially try some more agressive advertising(be ready as this fase will be quite disgusting)

Next step to be taken will be some litle change and indroducing a new Lottery product ,they use call this "updated lottery offer"
