How do you predict something that's random?

Ok, no dice with that one as there was 1 goal by the end which broke the sequence. When I have another one that looks particularly interesting I'll post it in this thread. Ideally I'd like to build my own database of results from various leagues so I can write a script to search for things like overdue goal totals and emerging omega sequences, this is something I may do soon as I'm sure there's a lot I'm missing by manually checking various teams.
