Hi Guys

Just to let you know our site is totally dead, I'm not sure if we've been hacked which makes sense OR what! but the main database running the forum has had the config table deleted which has killed the site totally. (just happened out the blue and bang)

I have asked our hosts to restore a full backup. When this occurs is anybodies quess then its seeing from when this was and whats been lost.

thanks wondered what had happened couldnt access it at all, perhaps we have unnerved them with all our talk of it being fixed and they have decided to silence us.. hee hee

Hi Val,

Yes I did consider that too, but we were pretty careful not to make accusations just what ifs or possibles etc.,

Still nothing off the ISP yet though so maybe tomorrow, worse case scenario however at present will be a full reinstall, which means we loose all posts and all members! so they had better have a backup...If not I may have to wait until I speak to Frank and see if he has one (you can read between the lines on that).

In the meantime I'll just leave the message as is on the main page or root. I'll let you all know what develops here when I do.

No reply off our ISP/Host and 3 e-mails sent now, I've tried to repair the damage but the Users table and Config table have been deleted!

Who ever or whatever did this really knew how to hit us.

Sites dead, and all I can see is a full reinstall....its going to take sometime to resolve this.

can't see it Val. I have been busy since last night and finally have a replacement up and running, it is the latest version and gawd its going to take some getting used too.

anyway, forum is back but in a new location with hopefully all posts upto 01/03/2009 intact, just as we lost the users table I had to alter the posters ids and a few others fields to make them all look like they are from me.

We did get hacked, I emailed Len last night a warning. Site is back, if you access the root domain that should take you in. (i.e www. oursite .com)

dont know what happened to email then, better check that, i tried again to get website but had no luck so will try root domain as you have said. regards val
