I see today is open day for Spam. People join so thay can post the same garbage in multiple threads. Lets all treat it with the contempt it deserves. Can new members not be put on pre-mod to stop this behaviour ?

I like to let new members have access straight away,
However, if this sort of thing happens again
I will start moderating new members.

Having just got back from 2 weeks in Egypt, where temperatures were 29 degrees C , it was a shock to get back yesterday to sub zero temperatures. Then I slipped on the ice and knocked my fingers back, my middle finger is black and blue. Its going to be a while before I can get my lotto results updated as Im already 5 draws behind.
Anyway, roll on the thaw.

I'm sorry to hear you've hurt yourself having just got back from Egypt.
the snow this end is about a foot deep so using the car is a no, no,
I know what it's like to have to update site stats it takes a lot of time

I had a bit of bad luck myself
When I got home on Wednesday
All the Doors and Windows in the House were Open and Everything was Gone!!!

What sort of sick person does that to your Advent Calendar.

It takes about 20 minutes per draw to go through all the spreadsheets, and now I'm 6 behind. I'm still trying to catch up on my Sky plus machine and the 20 hours of stuff I recorded.

be informed that idoidoido is still available

You are joking but the situation is rather serious.
I don't know if you nave noticed that the last couple of weeks
was International Spammer Weeks ,in the last two
days before Len opted for disabling new account registratons
Lottopost reached over new 50 registrations daily.

I'm the registrant of idoido indeed as the user idoido was
meditated to be Beta tester of some potential antiautomatic
registratons strategy but Len preffered to simply cut the problem
and seen like this We are now members of unpenetrabile Lottery club
with life duration Gold Membership.....how it sounds just great

Len was informed at advance about that registration and also
that I'm to reffil some lack of web security knoleage but
as I soon have to understand it wasn't a lack but need to
update about the last days changes...
rumor is that somewere in India there is even employment of
human operators of Spambots against the Captcha.

Think about-registering idoido made me spending 1 min 48 seconds,
firstly had to invent idoido and than had to reset twice the
Captcha test.From the last over 200 new registrations witch
Len had to patiently delete manualy:

All 100% was made within 40-43 sec
Over 80% was in the range under 13 sec
Arround 40% was in range under 6 sec

About the Pick2 "idoido" there is a great fun as
in the very same day when the most secure
Security measure called Captcha stopped to exist ,
for some very important Security reason clear only to the web developers
the registering system has preffered to trick me that ido2 and ido3
are not available

Thanks Ido for the explanation. I think you are saying that the anti spam measure designed to stop robots from automatically registering, Capcha which asks registrants to type in the letters shown in an image wasn't working ? Or maybe you were testing to see if was working by registering under a new name ? Something like that anyway.
